Terms and conditions

Version 20261025-registration-en-1 · Publicada em 2026-10-25 08:38:22

Please read these Terms carefully before using the platform.

Use of TradinPortugal is subject to acceptance of these Terms and of the specific conditions presented by each seller, product, quotation or order.

Last updated: 5 August 2026

1. The TradinPortugal platform

TradinPortugal is a B2B2C marketplace connecting buyers with independent sellers, including manufacturers, brands, distributors and stores. The platform allows users to discover products, buy individual items or in bulk and, where available, request commercial quotations.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in an offer, TradinPortugal provides the technological infrastructure and is not the seller of the products. The sale contract is concluded between the buyer and the seller identified on the product page, quotation, checkout and order documentation.

2. Application of the Terms

These Terms apply to browsing, registration and use of the platform. The seller's conditions, the product description, the accepted quotation and the information presented at checkout supplement these Terms. In the event of a dispute concerning a sale, the legally valid specific condition communicated to the buyer before the order was completed takes precedence.

These Terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights. Consumer protection rules apply only where the buyer acts as a consumer and the seller as a trader, as defined by law.

3. Registration and account

  • Users must provide truthful, complete and up-to-date information.
  • Credentials are personal and must not be shared.
  • The account holder is responsible for activity carried out through the account, except for misuse for which they are not responsible.
  • Any suspicious access must be reported immediately by email or ticket.
  • TradinPortugal may request additional information to verify an account, seller, business or transaction.

4. Products, sellers and quotations

Each seller is responsible for the accuracy of the descriptions, images, specifications, prices, taxes, stock, origin, certifications, availability, timescales, commercial terms and legal compliance of the products they publish.

Images may be illustrative, without prejudice to the seller's duty to provide accurate information. A quotation request does not automatically constitute an order. A purchase becomes binding only under the terms communicated at checkout or in the accepted and confirmed quotation.

5. Prices, payment and invoicing

Applicable prices, taxes, shipping charges, discounts and additional costs are presented in the offer, quotation or checkout. Available payment methods may vary depending on the seller, country, currency and type of transaction.

Payment may be processed by external providers. An order may be subject to payment authorisation, confirmation or validation. Invoicing is the responsibility of the seller identified in the transaction, unless expressly stated otherwise.

6. Orders and availability

Automatic receipt of a request does not necessarily mean that the seller has accepted it. An order may be refused or cancelled, with the amounts due refunded, in situations such as unavailability, an obvious pricing or description error, reasonable suspicion of fraud, inability to deliver or failure to comply with the applicable conditions.

Buyers must check all details before completing an order and keep their contact details and delivery address up to date.

7. Delivery

Delivery areas, carrier, costs and estimated timescales are set by the seller and presented before purchase where applicable. Timescales are estimates unless an express commitment states otherwise. Buyers should check the order upon receipt and promptly report visible damage, missing packages or discrepancies.

8. Right of withdrawal and returns

Where the buyer is a consumer and the purchase falls within the rules on distance contracts, they may generally exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 consecutive days of receiving the goods, under Decree-Law No. 24/2014, as amended.

The request must be communicated to the seller by an unequivocal statement through the channel specified in the order or by email, identifying the order. The consumer must return the goods in accordance with the law and is responsible only for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Statutory exceptions to the right of withdrawal may apply, including to personalised goods, goods liable to deteriorate rapidly, sealed goods unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once opened, and digital content under the conditions provided by law. Return costs are governed by the information provided by the seller and the applicable legal rules.

For purchases between businesses or professionals, returns depend on the commercial terms agreed with the seller, unless an applicable statutory right provides otherwise.

9. Conformity and warranties

For sales to consumers, the seller is liable for lack of conformity under Decree-Law No. 84/2021, as amended. For new movable goods, the statutory liability period is generally three years from delivery, without prejudice to specific rules, second-hand goods, digital content or services and additional commercial warranties.

Customers should contact the seller identified in the order and provide the reference, a description of the problem and information reasonably necessary for assessment. Commercial warranties never reduce consumers' statutory rights.

10. Users' obligations

The following are not permitted:

  • using the platform for unlawful, fraudulent or misleading purposes;
  • publishing false, offensive, discriminatory or dangerous content, or content that infringes third-party rights;
  • interfering with the security, operation or integrity of the platform;
  • collecting other users' data without a lawful basis;
  • using unauthorised automated mechanisms to copy, extract or overload content or services;
  • bypassing security measures, access controls or applicable commercial rules.

11. Content, reviews and intellectual property

The platform's content, trademarks, software, structure and graphic elements are protected by intellectual property rights. Users retain rights to the content they submit, but grant TradinPortugal the permission needed to host, reproduce and display it in connection with operating and promoting the platform.

TradinPortugal may remove or restrict content and suspend accounts where there are indications of a breach of the law, these Terms, third-party rights or platform security, in compliance with applicable legal obligations.

12. Liability

Each seller is responsible for their products, offers, sales, invoicing, deliveries, returns, warranties and after-sales support. TradinPortugal is responsible for the platform services it provides and does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

The platform may experience interruptions due to maintenance, technical incidents, communications or causes beyond reasonable control. Appropriate measures will be taken to restore the service, but continuous and error-free operation is not guaranteed.

13. Data protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the choices set in the cookie manager.

14. Support, complaints and disputes

For general support, contact info@tradinportugal.com. Authenticated professional users and sellers may also open a support ticket. Enquiries relating to a product or order should identify the seller and the relevant reference.

Consumers may consult the Dispute Resolution page and use the Electronic Complaints Book. Participation in alternative dispute resolution mechanisms depends on the applicable legal rules and the competent body.

15. Applicable law and changes

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to mandatory rules applicable to the user. Jurisdiction is determined by law, without affecting the consumer's right to refer disputes to the competent alternative dispute resolution bodies.

The Terms may be updated for legal, technical or operational reasons. The new version applies from the date specified, without retroactively changing the rights and obligations of orders already completed, unless required by law.
