Payment Methods
Learn about the available options and how we protect each payment.

Tradin Portugal provides the payment methods appropriate to each purchase at checkout. As options may vary, this page does not give a fixed list. Before completing your order, you can check the methods actually available, the total amount and any applicable additional cost.
1. Options available at checkout
The methods displayed may depend on the country or region, currency, order value and characteristics, responsible seller, customer type, security requirements and availability of payment service providers. For this reason, a method used for a previous purchase may not be available for another order.
For B2B transactions, customised orders or quotation requests, specific payment terms may also be presented in the quotation, order or checkout. These terms will be communicated before any payment commitment.
2. Order and payment confirmation
Review products, quantities, billing and delivery details, currency, taxes, shipping charges, discounts and the final total before confirming. Submission of a payment may be subject to authentication or authorisation by the relevant provider. Receipt of the request does not, in itself, amount to payment confirmation.
Where a transaction is pending, declined or incomplete, you may return to checkout and select another available option. A temporary authorisation or hold on funds is managed by the provider and issuing institution according to their respective timescales.
3. Security
Make payments only through checkout, using the payment details displayed in the order or an official instruction associated with your account. Do not send passwords, authentication codes or full payment details by email, chat or other informal channels.
Data necessary for the transaction is processed in accordance with the selected method, legal and security requirements and our Privacy Policy. Some payments may be processed by specialist providers, whose terms and notices are presented where applicable.
4. Invoicing
Payment and the issue of tax documents are related but separate processes. The invoice or applicable document will be issued by the entity responsible for the sale, based on the details supplied by the customer and the tax rules applicable to the transaction.
5. Cancellations, returns and refunds
Cancellations, returns and refunds depend on the order status, nature of the products, agreed terms and applicable law. Where a refund is approved, it will normally be made through the original payment method wherever technically and legally possible. If this is not possible, a suitable alternative will be communicated.
The time it takes for funds to become available may vary depending on the method, provider and customer's financial institution. Approval of a refund by Tradin Portugal or the seller does not allow them to control third parties' internal processing times.
6. Changes to payment methods
Tradin Portugal may add, replace, restrict or withdraw payment methods for technical, commercial, legal, security or availability reasons. The information shown at checkout at the time of purchase is the current reference for the options available for that order.
7. Help
If you have questions about an option, payment status or an order, contact us through the contact page, quoting the order reference and without sharing credentials or full payment details. Please also see our Terms and Conditions.
